A safe place to practice genuine conversations.

A young woman in a red jacket is sitting on a ledge outside, smiling and laughing while looking at her phone. Her reflection is visible in the glass window of the building beside her. The background shows trees, overcast sky, and an empty parking lot.

In KNEXO, conversations are guided, time-limited, and designed to feel respectful and comfortable.

Screenshot of a scheduling website with a white background. The top has a logo with the name "KNEXO" in black text and multi-colored dots. There is a section labeled "CONVERSATION NAME" with the word "travel" filled in. Below is a section called "PICK YOUR TIME" with the date "18 Feb 2026" and time "9:00 AM" in bright pink. Further down, a calendar displays February 2026 with the 18th circled in pink, and a time selector on the right with pink buttons for selecting hours and minutes.

STEP 2: Agree to the “shared care agreement” and choose a topic (if you’re starting a conversation)

The page has six sections with headers: 'Overcoming social anxiety', 'First date practice', 'Hobbies and special interests', 'Personal / life experiences', 'Hopes & dreams', and 'To do list for the day'. Each section contains a brief description. There is a hamburger menu icon in the top right corner.

STEP 3: Have a conversation with someone new. Use conversation starters to jumpstart your conversation!

There are three buttons at the bottom for microphone, video, and a bright light icon.

STEP 4: Congratulate yourself and schedule another conversation!

Compare Knexo to Other Services:

How is Knexo different from Omegle or AI chatbots?

If you're looking for a place to practice conversation, you'll run into three options: random video chat sites, AI companions, and Knexo. They're built for completely different things. Here's an honest breakdown:

Comparison chart of features for KNEXO, Omegle, and AI Chat Bots, including free status, meaningful conversations, talking to strangers, structured and intentional conversations, avoiding awkwardness, reducing social anxiety, and reducing depressive symptoms.

Nothing is wrong with Omegle or AI Chatbots — they're just not practice. A chatbot can't teach you to read a room, sit through a pause, or recover from saying the wrong thing, because it never judges you and never surprises you. And random chat with strangers isn't practice either — it's roulette. Knexo is the middle path: real humans and real stakes, but structured and safe enough that showing up feels doable.
